Little Belt Snowmobile Club

Lewistown, Montana

Uniting riders to protect, maintain, and enjoy winter recreation in Central Montana.

About Us

Formed in the spring of 1989, the Little Belt Snowmobile Club is a group of riders and volunteers working to create the best snowmobiling experiences in our area of Central Montana. We are based in Lewistown and promote snowmobiling access across Central Montana.

We groom 135 miles of snowmobile trails in the scenic south-east region of the Little Belt Mountains, manage a warming hut in the Big Snowy Mountains near Crystal Lake, regularly meet for group rides, and promote winter recreation opportunities for our members.

Our Maintained Trails

Whether you’re an experienced rider or a beginner, our 135 miles of groomed trails offer a variety of riding experiences, from trail riding and boondocking to exploring powder-filled meadows, ravines, and hills.

The most common launching-off point for our network is the South Fork Judith parking area near Sapphire Village (directions), but our trails tie into the entire Little Belt snowmobile network, with hundreds of miles of accessible trails.

Condition reports can be found on our Facebook page.
